Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

as a mover of historical aircraft — as evidenced by our photograph of its latest movement (probably the last, it reckons) of an Avro York anywhere in the world.

The 40-year-old veteran (nearly as old as the Hawk') G-ANTK travelled from Lasham, near Basingstoke, to the Imperial War Museum's Dindord Airfield by road on a convoy of Vanguard lowloaders — dismantled of course.

Vanguard is no stranger to this type of movement. It recently moved a Lancaster bomber to Dwdord and a couple of years ago was involved in the movement of Valiant V-bomber from Marham io the RAF Museum at Hendon.

According to Vanguard. the Avro York was an important step on the road to post-war development of the long-rang( passenger transport aircraft. Developed in 1941 from the Lancaster bomber, the prototype York flew after only five months, on July 5, 1942, at Ringway. It fulfilled an immed ate need as a VIP transport, and the third prototype was luxuriously fitted out as Winston Churchill's highlevel conference room in the clouds.

• Top marks to Perrys, the Ford main dealer and truck specialist of Aylesbury. whose Used Car Centre. Stoke Autopoint was the venue for the start of a charity three-legged walk in aid of a new diabetes education and treatment centre at Stoke Mandeville.

The walkers — Yvonne and Chris Tysorn, Sandra Tysom and Sue Pearson — left Perrys, walking down the Wenclover Road, through the High Street. through Wendower and down the Weston' Turville Road, and finally ending up outside Perrys Stoke Autopoint again.

Sue and Chris are diabetics, as well as Sandra's mum, and the new centre, due to open later this year, will not only provide support and treatment for diabetics, but will also advise and support their families.

Over ,E400 was raised for which grateful thanks were sent, and we'd certainly echo Yvonne's words in thanking everyone . . "not forgetting Perrys for their kind donation".

Our pic shows Sandra, Sue, Yvonne and Chris, with Jim Munden of Stoke Autopoint at the start of the walk.
