NATIONAL TRAVEL'S first scheduled service has got off to a good start. The first run, which left London a fortnight ago, used a Bristol coach with a fully airconditioned body. Fifteen passengers left London, four of them were travelling right through to Athens and two more were picked up in Brussels, two in Cologne and 15 in Frankfurt.

The second service which left London a week ago was operated by a 12m Leyland Leopard with a toiletequipped Plaxton body but without air-conditioning.
