• The Shipowners' Refrigerated Cargo Research Association of 140 Newmarket Road, Cambridge. has been appointed as the competent authority in the UK for testing orexamining insulated and refrigerated equipment carrying perishable foodstuffs to and from France. From the beginning of July regulations which already apply to French hauliers will be extended to cover international traffic with the exception of through traffic.
