A UNIFIED Humberside, linked by 140 miles of new and reconstructed roads, is proposed in a report issued today by the Humber area development committee—a group of Humberside Junior Chambers of Commerce. Links across the Humber are regarded as urgent necessities and it is suggested that work starts immediately, employing the resources built up for construction of the Forth and Severn Bridges.
