Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE COWIE GROUP's coaching profits fell last year to one third of the 1981/82 figure, partly because of normal working by British Rail.

The 1982/83 profit for the coaching wing, the main part of which is London-based Grey Green, fell from £308,000 to £105,000. In the previous year, there was much extra business during the prolonged series of national rail strikes.

But the motor trade-based group increased its overall profits by £118,000 to £1.13m.
