TOWNSEND'S NEW SUPERFERRIES • With four months to its introduction in June on the Dover-Calais service, external work is near completion on Townsend Thoresen's new superferry Pride of Dover.
The new ferry will be able to carry more than 100 lorries — almost twice the capacity of any other ferry currently operating on the short Channel routes.
Sistership Pride of Calais, is due to be launched before Easter and will come into service in November.
