A NEW national pallet pool with an initial investment ol £5m is to be run by GKN Chep Ltd, a company owned jointly by the engineering giant, GKN, major shareholder, anc Brambles, operator of the CHEP pallet pool in Australia.
The pool will operate initially from eight depots ir the UK and will be based or the re, i*al c._,ncept which ha; proved itself in Australia. Al
