• A larger capacity fuel tank, which increases operating range by over 50 per cent, has been introduced as a regular production option for short wheelbase models in the Ford Transit range. It costs £2 and has a capacity of 15 gallons compared with the standard 9-41-gal tank. The larger tank is available on 12cwt. 17cwt and 22cwt Transit van models.
