• To meet critical sizes and loading requirements, Marshall has developed for the John Lewis Partnership a special Luton body based on the BMC 550FG chassis/scuttle.

The vehicles were supplied by Marshalls (Cambridge) Ltd., with bodywork by their associate company, Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd.

The body is of composite contruction and incorporates glass-fibre mouldings to the roof and the interior of the cab. Specially produced deep windscreens are used and kerb windows are also fitted to the scuttle.

The interior of the cab is Finished in a deluxe style and incorporates Bostrom driver and passenger seats.
