Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Don't overcomplicate. Too many words or small typefaces lose impact. Your message has to be read from a distance and at speed.

• Create a corporate image by using the same logo and style on your other business materials.

• Include a telephone number and website address if you have one.

• The colour of lettering and logo vinyl should contrast with the colour of the paintwork.

• Bold designs and strong colours work best if the paintwork is subdued. Vans in unusual colours may lower residual values. • Consider four-colour graphics or reflective vinyl for extra impact. Use an image relevant to your business: a loaf of bread, or a spanner, for example.

• Reflective vinyl stands out at night.

• Don't choose vinyl with a one-year life if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. The vinyl may fade or peel—a poor advertisement for your company.

• Wait at least two weeks after the livery is applied before putting the van through a vehicle wash; the adhesive needs time to cure properly
