Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

mounted sweeper

• Scarab Sweepers will launch a truckmounted sweeper at next month's Institute of Municipal Transport show.

The Maxim 7500 has a maximum payload design to suit truck chassis of 14 tonnes GVW and upwards. It's aimed at the hire sector and cold-planing contractors but Scarab believes budget-conscious municipal operators will also be interested.

The Maxim has a single power source but does not use hydrostatic transmission when in sweep mode.

Instead a new system, called Unidrive, powers the sweeper functions while a normal nine speed truck transmission is in operation.

Scarab claims the introduction of Unidrive makes the Maxim 7500 cheaper than any sweeper of comparable payload and performance. Maxim is suitable for any chassis with a ninespeed gearbox.
