off, London Country North East (LCNE) has lost tenders to run three London Regional Transport (LRT) routes.
One service is now being run by Borehamwood Travel Services (BTS) which originally competed for the routes by offering to run Routemasters; Grey Green will operate the other two routes using Metrobus double-deckers.
There were doubts as to whether LCNE could run the three LRT routes in London, as LCNE's depot was sited so far from the routes. Inefficiencies at • LCNE were said to be aggravated by lack of drivers and industrial action.
