Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AMarker boards are not required on wide

loads. The only requirement in this respect is that any vehicle carrying a load which extends beyond the side of the vehicle must have sidelights within lft, of the outer edges of the load. Additional rear lamps must also be carried within 1ft of the outer edges of the load. The regulation type of triangular marker boards are required only on loads which project more than 6ft to the front or rear of the vehicle.

Two types of marker are used. The front or rear markers must be carried on loads projecting between 6ft and 10ft beyond the rear of the vehicle or more than 6ft beyond the front. In addition, the side marker must be carried on loads projecting more than 10ft beyond the rear of the vehicle and more than 6ft beyond the front.

The dimensions and colouring of these markers are shown in the accompanying diagram.
