MORE SUPPLIERS continue to sign up for Commercial Motor Live, the new must-attend event at Millbrook Proving Ground on 3-4 October.

The latest to sign up include: Amber Valley, showcasing its safe reversing technology; tipper bodybuilding specialist Thompsons; Vision Techniques, highlighting its safety and security solutions; and VUE, displaying its vehicle and static CCTV technology.

As well as the truck manufacturers (Isuzu Truck, Mercedes-Benz, Renault Trucks, Scania and Volvo), Shell will also offer a ride and drive opportunity aboard a truck itted with its FuelSave Partner fuel management technology, which remotely monitors driver performance and fuel consumption – meaning you’ll get Shell’s evaluation of your driving.

Isuzu Truck will offer a similar opportunity – all four of its Forward trucks will feature the new Mimamori system, and drivers will get feedback on their driving performance when they return to the Isuzu Truck stand.

Visitors who sign up for ride and drives can also get their irst taste of Euro-6 with a Scania R440. At Euro-5, there are a trio of MercedesBenz’s new Antos rigids, as well as the new Actros, and dual-fuel variants of the existing Actros and Axor. Volvo will also have a dualfuel variant of the FM13.

Those interested in tippers will have a choice of a Volvo FMX, a Scania P360 and a Renault Kerax.

And, of course, the new Volvo FH will be there.

Operators interested in quiet deliveries, whether by day or night, should ensure they get next week’s CM when we’ll have details of the Quiet Delivery Depot, presented by the Noise Abatement Society, at Commercial Motor Live.
