THERE WAS A major development in the investigation into LGV training broker Quick Pass LGV (CM 23 August) last week when police and Trading Standards oficers raided residential addresses in London and Essex.

Tower Hamlets Council said the raids led to four arrests with subsequent bail, and were part of a wider investigation into LGV training companies.

A statement from the council said: “Tower Hamlets Trading Standards has been investigating a number of LGV training companies. We can conirm that the Trading Standards team has carried out a number of raids at a series of residential addresses in Tower Hamlets, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police, and one address in Essex, in conjunction with Essex Police. This is part of ongoing investigations, including the investigation into Quick Pass LGV.”
