Ford has unveiled two new additions to its CV line-up at a European dealer event in Amsterdam. It introduced the long-awaited 2-tonne Transit van (right) and a new Transit Connect model to the range. Ford’s 2-tonne Transit model follows the launch of the 1-tonne Transit Custom at the CV Show in April and will be available in multiple wheelbase and roof height configurations up to long-wheelbase, high-roof, jumbo versions with a 15m3 maximum volume. Power will come from the recently revised Stage V 2.2litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, which can be specified with front-, rearor all-wheel-drive.
