• An advice bureau for bus and coach operators; which has been set up in Teesside, is ' trying to attract more PSV members.
So far 36 operators have shown an interest in the group, which will hold monthly meetings on legislation and problems in the industry.
The group's founder, Hilary Stonehouse, who is managing director of Skelton-based ERS Coaches, plans to recruit all the local operators — which she estimates amounts to be about 45 firms. However, she says there are no plans to develop the group nationwide.
The group, which still has to be given a name — will hold its next meeting on 26 September, at Guisborough Hall.
