Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new series of small capacity cranes is being launched by Hiab at the NEC in the XS 5.0-8.0 tonne-metre class. All feature low transport height, compact dimensions and what is claimed to be class-leading outreach.

All also feature the new hydraulic control valve, Valve 80, which delivers extra lifting capacity with light lever movements.

The XS 066 is for 5.0-6.0 tonne-metre operations and specially designed for installation on medium sized trucks with low overall weight. Outreach is up to 11.7m and the crane is optimised for handling loads at close quarters. It will be available in standard 'no links' boom configuration or with an outer boom link with up to four hydraulic extensions.

The XS 077 allows loads of up to 2.0 tonnes to be lifted safety Available with up to four boom extensions, maximum outreach is 11.6m.

The largest new crane, the XS 088, has a 7.0-8.0 tonne metre capacity and the Eversion of the crane will have an outreach of 13.7m.

All XS cranes can be specified with the Space 3000 or Space 4000 safety systems, with radio remote control as an option.
