• Expect delays for the next four months on the A303 near Chicklade, Wilts. A contraflow with a 40mph speed limit will be in operation together with an overtaking ban.
Better bypass
• The A27 Brighton and Hove bypass has opened for two-way traffic between Dyke Road and Patcham, avoiding the narrow railway bridge at Mill Road.
