Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BEDFORD has introduced turbocharged versions of its Red Series 3.6 and 5.4-litre diesel engines as options on its TK and TL lorries. And the naturally aspirated engines will also have substantially improved specifications.

Turbocharging has increased engine power by about 10 per cent (to 72.2bhp and 107bhp) respectively with, Bedford claims, better fuel consumption and less noise.

Special features incorporated into both turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines as a result of the turbocharging programme include: Stronger main bearing caps and bolts; increased water cooling flow; larger oil sump capacity (5.4L only); bigger oil filter; tuftrided timing gears and tappets; sound deadened steel side cover and timing cover; rubber sealed injectors; and pressure balanced CAV Thermostart cold-start system (turbocharged engines, only).

The recommended engine prices are: 3.6 L,TK/TL, £375; 5.4 L, TK/TL, £415; and 5.4 L, M, £375.
