A new type of automatic wash for commercial vehicles has been developed by Wickham Industrial Equipment.
The Jet Clense will clean commercial vehicles of all shapes and sizes using high pressure jets of water and a new specially formulated Pyroclense chemical that 'attacks dirt and grime.
Both a moving gantry or static twin-wash version of the unit are available.
The moving gantry model is activated by the vehicle running on to a pneumatic strip. Time for cleaning a 9m (30ft) vehicle is about three Ininultes.
The static model reties on the vehicle driving slowly through two arches. The first arch cattains jets which cover the vehicle in the chemical/water mix while the second arch sprays the vehicle with rinsing water. • Available from : Wickham Industrial Equipment Ltd, Norton Road, Stevenage, Herts.
