Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DEVICE which shuts off a diesel engine when the vehicle's ignition key is removed is the main attraction of a Bedford boxvan now making a countrywide tour displaying the vehicle security equipment manufactured by Waso Security Systems Ltd, Whiteway Road, Queenborough, Kent MEll 5EQ.

Known as the Diesel Stop, the device costs £16.50 plus fitting. It means that vehicles with steering locks can be left secure without danger of them being driven with the ignition key removed. The device is designed to conform with an expected EEC regulation on the subject and does away with the manual strangler control.

Other items on the vehicle include an alarm system on the roller shutter. This works by a magnetic catch which sounds an audible alarm if the shutter is tampered with. Similar contacts are fitted to cab. doors and windows and to the exterior engine covers. The alarm system is self-powered from a 12V battery which is charged from the vehicle's own electric supply while on the move. The same system is claimed to be applicable to containers.
