Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DENNIS MOTORS are to fit out •a Daimler Fleetline with the components to be used in their planned double-deck chassis. The bus is reported to have been borrowed from West Yorkshire PTE, but a PTE 'spokesman denied that there was any contractual obligation on it to buy any Dennis chassis.

The "test-bed" bus will be used to try out the combination of Gardner 6LXB engine and Voith 0851 fully automatic gearbox—but in a different configuration to that planned for the new design of chassis. It is understood that this new design will incorporate two 90 degree turns between the engine an gearbox to bring the gearbox in front of the rear engine before the final drive to the differential.

It is likely that the "testbed" bus will see trials in service before the final decision whether to go ahead with the new chassis is taken.

Representatives from two bodybuilders have visited Dennis to discuss the new chassis.

Dennis at present plans to produce 15 chassis for trials.
