• The Wimborne, Dorset, firm Quay Trailers Ltd. is in process of moving to a new factory located at Junction Works, Dawkins Rd., Hamworthy, Poole, on a 1.-acre site not five miles from the company's present premises. Already the works staff has moved in and it is expected that office personnel will follow shortly. The new plant, says Quay, has capacity for increasing production 24 times.
Quay 40ft tandem axle trailers operated by 38 ton g.t.w. Volvo FB 88 artic units are being used for the new weekly London-Malta road service instituted by Malta CrossContinent Containers Ltd., (CM June 6).
