AT the annual general meeting of F. Perkins, Ltd., Mr. F. Perkins, having reached the age of 73, did not offer himself for re-election as director and ceased to be chairman of the company.
At a meeting following, the Board took no action to appoint a successor to the chairmanship but unanimously elected Mr. Perkins an honorary president of F. Perkins, Ltd., and associated companies.
Mr. Perkins founded the company in 1932; the Group is now led by Mr. M. I. Prichard, the present managing director.
