Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Packaging, Pallet

A SINGLE centre-pole support, which results in a claimed extra 760kg (15cwt) of payload compared with other maximum length curtain siders, has been designed by Lawrence David Ltd, the Peterboroughbased body engineers.

The centre pillar is an Iconfiguration, which takes the roof and curtain loading with any fore and aft movement eliminated by angular ties to the front and rear bulkheads. With the remainder of the roof configuration being an allaluminium structure, its weight can be reduced by up to the claimed 760kg (15cwt).

The design is to meet the requirements of Allied Breweries, who need the extra floor space available as a result of the single pillar to cater for their double-pallet-loading system from one side of the trailer.
