• Shearings has taken on five Van Hool T815 integrals as part of its largest order of new vehicles to date.
They will be used for Continental touring and are fitted with Cummins engines, ZF automatic gearboxes and air conditioning for tropical climates. All of Shearing's 136 new vehicles will be delivered by the end of the year. They include 75 Volvo B10Ms, 20 Leyland Tigers, 15 Scania K113s — Plaxtons will body 60 of these chassis and Van Hool 50. The order also includes 16 Volvo DlOM Citybuses bodied by Alexander of Belfast.
