Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Early this week a demonstration and seminar on container stuffing was held in Birmingham by Clark Stacatruc Ltd. The programme included demonstrations of those Clark machines particularly suitable for working inside standard ISO containers.

The Clark C50 machine (5,000 lb) capacity fuelled with I,p.g. displayed full versatility. As fitted with a triple-stage mast, this machine stacked to a height of 15 ft—blade-height from floor—when working in an open warehouse, yet worked inside a standard container safely and economically. A free lift of over 5ft was attained within the lowered mast height of 8ft.

Another I.pg. truck displayed was the model CY40 fitted with pneumatic tyres for yard duties. A sideshift attachment and a load indicator were also fitted.

For those convinced that skid boards could be used successfully, so gaining extra cubic capacity, Clark demonstrated its Pul-Pak attachment. Goods stacked on low-cost boards were pulled onto the fork blades by an hydraulically-operated gripper and removed by a ram pusher.

After an introduction by Mr. J. F. Andrews, chairman, Clark Europe Ltd., the seminar covered containerization in general rather the? Clark's products in particular.
