MAMMOTH MAJORS FOR BOWLES: F. Bowles and Sons Ltd., of Cardiff, has ordered seven A.E.C. Mammoth Major sixwheelers to be fitted with Ransome and Rapier 6-cu.-yd. concrete mixers.

MORE DOUBLE-DECKERS FOR PORTUGAL: Latest Portuguese city to adopt A.E.C. double-decker buses is Coimbra, which has ordered two Regent V chassis with left-hand drive and 180 b.h.p. 11.3-litre engines. The chassis will be supplied e.k.d. for assembly in Lisbon by U.T.1.C., local A_E.C. distributors.

LEYLAND GROUP VEHICLES FOR NORTHERN IRELAND: T. B. F. Thompson (Belfast) Ltd. has received orders totalling 4125,000 for Leyland Group products. These include nine Leyland Comet 13C.14R tractive units with 0.400 diesel engines for Northern Ireland Trailers Ltd.; six Albion Claymores for Northern Dairies Ltd.; and 36 Scammell 20-ton, tandem-axle, sett trailers for Ferrymasters Ltd.
