to the Geddes Committee on goods vehicle licensing were a set of really constructive proposals for the proper regulation of the industry, said Mr. G. K. Newman, R.H.A. secretary-general, o'n Friday. He was speaking at the annual dinner of the Association's Oxford sub-area.
Tribunal Appeals THE Transport Tribunal has given notice that it will hear the following appeals in London next week:— Tuesday, December 17: William Lewis Pattinson; Newberry Transport Ltd. v British Railways Board and others; Henry Fearon v British Railways Board and others (all against decisions of the Northern L.A.).
Wednesday, December 18: M.A.T. Transport Ltd. v B.R.S. (against dec:sion of Metropolitan Deputy L.A.).
