• No action was taken against the licence held by John Hendry and Robert Mathers, trading as East Coast Roadways, of Aberdeen, when they appeared before Scottish DTC Richard McFarlane following a number of convictions recorded against the firm.
Final warning • George Jones, trading as Haven Auto Breakers, of Pembroke, was given a final warning about his maintenance standards when he appeared at a Cardiff disciplinary inquiry before South Wales DTC Alan Jenkins.
Less licence
• The licence held by Stephen Boyes, of Wincanton, has been cut to six vehicles by Western TC Christopher Heaps. The TC granted Boyes' application for two new operating centres subject to a number of undertakings over maintenance.
No conditions • North Western DTC Mark Hinchliffe decided not to impose any conditions after reviewing the licence for 19 vehicles and 16 trailers held by B Brierley (Garstang) at a Preston public inquiry.
