Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Ten transporters and drivers have been brought over from France to help automotive distribution company Walon UK carry out delivery of K-registered vehicles nationwide. The Lohr JV 17 transporters have been supplied by Walon's parent company Walon-France as part of a reciprocal assistance agreement between the countries at times of peak distribution. Last year Walon UK supplied transporters and drivers to support its sister companies in Germany and France.

The transporters, which each carry eight or nine vehicles, will be in the country for several weeks, says Walon UK's sales and marketing director Gerard Barclay.

"We won extra contracts this year and now carry out distribution work for Toyota, Fiat, Alfa Lancia and half of the current Rover contract. Business is very buoyant."

The company is now predicting its turnover will be increased by 25%.

"We appear to be bucking the trend," says Barclay.
