Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

That's typical of young people today, blowing their own trumpet and banging their own drum. Actually this lot do have an excuse. The quartet, members of the Bridgetown Concert Showband, were joining in festivities marking a third successful year for Pall-Ex (UK), the Gotham-based central distribution hub for pailetised freight.

A celebratory dinner raised over £2,000 for charity. The main cause will be sponsorship of the Famous Five Masquerade Charity Ball 2000, proceeds of which will go to five charities chosen by the sponsor. Last year donations went to the Christian Lewis Trust, Cyrenians, Douglas Macmillan Hospice, St Ann's Hospice and Brake (the charity supporting families who have lost loved ones in road traffic accidents).

In a joint initiative with the police, the company is also funding three new ciassrooms at Gotham Primary school. Hilary Sharpies, managing director, says: "1999 was another successful year for us and this is our way of sharing some of that success with those less fortunate than ourselves, as well as supporting our local community, which has made us feel so welcome in the area."

Most commendable. The company is also sponsoring the Bridgetown Concert Showband, pictured here, which is made up of not just four, but 60 kids. Let's hope they play like nice children, in every sense of the word!
