Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An air-suspension kit designed for pickups and light vans has been launched for under £500 by Phoenix Truck and Trailer Equipment. It is intended to cure many of the problems from which light vans suffer, such as poor ride, bad cornering behaviour and rear end sagging from heavy loads. Unlike full air-suspension, the system does not replace the existing springs, but acts as a ride helper, coming into play when a load is carried. If the system fails, the normal vehicle suspension allows the vehicle to continue its journey. By utilising the manufacturer's chassis and axle-mounting points and avoiding any change to the brake load-sensing valve, Phoenix claims that the system needs no additional type approval and should not infringe the manufacturer's warranty.
