Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Whale Tankers' latest MegaWhale vacuum tanker, which ejects its loads via a moving internal division, is designed to allow operators to tackle both cleansing and industrial effluents handling.

Load capacity is extended by balancing the pressure and vacuum in each chamber, thus moving the inner partition as cleansing water is expended.

Once loaded, a pusher plate on the MegaWhale's moving internal division ejects the load hydraulically from the rear compartment. This avoids the need for tipping to discharge, which improves safety — especially with settled loads — saves time and reduces the amount of headroom requirement.

The new design, which can be built on rigid chassis in ca pacities up to 15,900 litres (3,500gal) for UK use, is also being shown to the French market.

Features of the new model also include overhead filling through an extending, hydraulically controlled arm with pendant remote controls.

At full extension it reaches 4.5m from its pivot, mounting on top of the tank. With quick release couplings this can be extended further. Its controls are mounted at the rear, dose to the hydraulically wound jetter hose reel, the Mega Whale provides up to 259Iit/min at 155bar (57ga1/min at 2,200psi) through this or the secondary reel.

Whale offers customers a choice of water, air-cooled or liquid ring type exhauster/ compressors.
