Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Vehicles at the National Finals are traditionally a gleaming advertisement for the road transport industry, but this year the entrants really seemed to have excelled themselves. It is perhaps invidious to mention individual examples among such an immaculate collection but my vote for the hest single turnout went to the Atkinson sixwheeled tractive unit and tandem-axled tipping trailer outfit of Allports, the Midland hauliers, all of whose vehicles were a good example of what can be done by a private operator.

Liveries were interesting, too. The changeing shades of BRS were evident: some vehicles were in the familiar red, but with the new three-arrows symbol, one was in grey with the arrows symbol in white, while one boxvan was in dark green and carried smart modern signwriting for BRS (Contracts) Limited.

A company which shall be nameless had entered a vehicle with a wedge-shaped wheel-chock hanging by a chain; there might have been some special belt-andbraces reason for this, but it seemed rather a horse-and-cart touch in this era of stringent braking regulations.
