• To help the formation of co-operative units in the haulage industry and to co-ordinate the activities of such groups, the Road Haulage Association is to appoint an executve officer at its London headquarters. His first task will be in the tipping vehicle field where there are already many associations arid groups, but he will later turn his attention to other branches of haulage where there may be scope for co-operative units.
The RHA has prepared a directory of tipping vehicle groups and associations, listing 34 such co-operatives.
