Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SCOTLAND-BASED LAGTA Group Training has bought six new MAN TGL 12-tonners in preparation for the new rules on truck driver training that come into force next year.

The new training vehicles all feature Euro-3 engines, ninespeed range-change gearboxes and digital tachographs.

The 2007 legislation changes require training vehicles to have at least eight forward gears and a box body rather than a flatbed. They also have to be longer and wider than before.

Gordon McGarvie from LAG-FA says: "These changes do not just set up LAGTA for the 2007 legislation, but are also a step towards the upcoming driver CPC in 2009."

Two of the vehicles are fitted with VBG hitchlocks for drawbar training; the curtain-sided bodies were provided by PMH of Denny.

LAGTA is based at Eurocentral, near Glasgow.
