CHRYSLER UK has advised operators of Dodge 100, 200 and 300-Series with full air spring brakes that brake actuators other than the original Clayton Dewandre units are not approved. The hold-off spring pressure of the Clayton unit is selected to suit the particular vehicle braking system and the use of actuators with different spring pressures could result in brake drag or loss of efficiency.
