Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Large parts of Edinburgh city centre will become a virtual no-go area for collections and deliveries from 10-12 December when the EC Summit takes place there. Special arrangements will be made for perishable goods deliveries.

Sections of Calton Road, Canongate, Holyrood Road, Abbeymount, Abbeyhill and most roads in Holyrood Park will he closed from 21:00hrs on 10 December until the conference closes. West Approach Road, Lothian Road, Castle Terrace, Lawnmarket, High Street, North Bridge and Canongate will be closed when delegation convoys are being escorted. And roads surrounding RAF Turnhouse, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle, Usher Hall, Leith Docks, Meadowbank Stadium, National Gallery and six city centre hotels will also be closed at times.

For security reasons there will be a 24-hour parking ban on all of these roads. A helpline, (0800) 232323, will deal with enquiries about the restrictions.
