The company offered hundreds of its rental vehicles to emergency agencies and its customers contributed relief supplies of food, water and clothing. Ryder provided about £75,000.
Ryder's European employees were also involved in the appeal, contributing to an emergency fund to help the thousands of Floridians who lost their homes and possessions during the storm.
