Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COMPREHENSIVE selection from _tithe wide Renault range of goods and Passenger chassis is available, this inchiding the new-type SI six-cylinder 32seater coach, of which full details were given in our issue dated October 29th.

The two smallest machines shoWn are the six-cylinder RY-type 7-cwt. salesman's brougham and the four-cylinder KZ-type 12-cwt. brougham. In the former case the engine bore and stroke are 58 tam. and 93 mm., whilst in the latter ease they are 75 mm. and 120 mm. The RY type is a new introduction to this country. It has a wheelbase of 8 ft. 8 ins, and a track of 4 ft. 3i ins., and the price is £262.: The larger brougham has a wheelbase of 9ft. 101 ins, and a track of 4 ft. 9 ins. It sells at £290.

Th OS-type 24-ewt. van with 14-45 h.p. four-cylindered engine (the bore and stroke of which are 75 mm. and 120 mm.) is to be seen. In this case the wheelbase is 10 ft. 8 ins., the track being 4 ft. 9 ins., and the weight of the chassis is 23 cwt. As with the two small broughams, there are fourwheel brakes, electric lighting and starting and five detachable steel-disc wheels.

A larger goods machine is the PRtype 37-cwt. lorry, this having the same model engine as that of the OS-type chassis, but, whereas the latter has a three-speed gearbox, this Machine has a four-speed gearbox. The .wheelbase is 11 ft.. 91 ins, and the front track 5 ft. Pneumatic tyres of 835 mm. by 135 mm. section are fitted, with twins on the rear • wheels. The lorry has an enclosed cab. A bigger machine with six-cylindered engine of similar bore and stroke and four-speed gearbox is the SX model, which is displayed as a 20-seater coach with body by Hall. Lewis and Co., Ltd. Having a bigger six-cylindered engine is the RI-type long-chassis 26-seater all weather coach shown, this having a body by the same coachbuilder. The bore and stroke in this ease are 85 nam. and 140 nun, respectively, the wheelbase being 16 ft. 1 in. and the track 6 ft. 1 in.

Considerable interest is expressed in the new 31-32-seater passenger chassis recently introduced by this company. It has a six-cylindered power unit of 110 mm. bore and 160 mm. stroke, this incorporating many features which have helped the famous Renault 45 h.p. motorear in its successful career. The combined dynamo and starter is not employed on this model, 'separate units being accommodated on the off side of the engine. The machine is claimed to be extremely fast on the road and silent and comfortable as a passenger vehicle. It has servo braking, a special clutchoperated servo mechanism being incorporated in the gearbox. The all-weather body is built by Strachans (Acton), Ltd.

The PE-type four-cylinder road' tractor is not very well known in this country, having been developed mainly

for sale in France. It has a fourcylindered engine of 75 mm. bore and 120 mm. stroke, the wheelbase being only 5 ft. 8# ins. The SG1 5-tonner is staged as a hydraulic end-tipping lorry. This machine has a wheelbase of 14 ft. 3 ins. and a front track of 5 ft. 8 ins., the four-cylindered engine being one of 100 mm. bore and 160 mm. stroke. There is a four-speed gearbox and fourwheel servo-brake equipment is included.
