INVESTIGATIONS are to be carried out by the Commission for Racial Equality into the National Bus Company and its subsidiaries.
Designed to promote equal appointments on a broad front the inquiry will be wide-ranging and formal. The Commission has powers under the Race Relations Act 1976 to conduct investigations without first receiving complaints alp' discrimination.
The NBC was chosen cause a. large number people from racial minorit are employed by its si sidiaries.
