THE FIRST five vehicles of an NBC contract for 50 Dominant Service Bus bodies based on Ford R1014 chassis have now been delivered to Eastern National of Chelmsford.
A parcel rack is fitted on the 0/S of the body and a longitudinal roof handpole with leather hanging straps is provided. Forty-three seats are fitted, with a large pram pen positioned on the N/S adjacent to the entrance. The other 45 bodies will be delivered in the next four months to operating companies as follows: South Wales Transport 17, United Counties 10, City of Oxford 8, East Yorkshire 5, Lincolnshire 5.
