• Crane Fruehauf have formed a fully owned subsidiary company—Crane Fruehauf Containers—to handle the group's container division.
Mr. Ronald Hooker, CF's managing director and chairman of the new company, said this week: "Our activities in the container field have increased dramatically in the past two years. Sales in 1971 will approach i9m."
Mr J. K. Thompson, previously the group's director of engineering, has been appointed chief executive of CFC. Other executive directors are: Mr R. Thomson (works); Mr W. I. Green (director); Mr J. Paterson (financial); and Mr B. Widdowson (technical).
Non-executive members of the board are: Mr D. R. Marsh, FC marketing director, and Mr R. J. Jarvis, financial director of the parent company.
