• Derbyshire police are appealing for a truck driver who may have witnessed a fatal collision to come forward.

At 8.3(ipm on Thursday 15 May, a green Peugeot 406 and a gold Ford Fiesta collided on the AS at the Junction with Broadhoime lane at Helper. The front seat passenger of the Fiesta died In the collision.

Officers are now seeking the driver of a green Mercedes flatbed which was traveling north along the A6 at the tine, as they believe they may have witnessed the collision. PC Ilike Dughark who is investigating the incident, Is keen to contact the haulage company as well and stresses that the truck OW was in no way involved lithe crash.
