• Next week is your last opportunity to enter this year's CM annual Livery Competition, entries for which most arrive at our offices on Friday. July 18.

There are four classes: one for goods vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes GVW: one for 7.5 to 16.2 tanners; one for trucks over 16.2 tonnes; and buses and coaches.

In addition to the main class awards, the Freight Transport Association has donated its handsome vintage model truck trophy for the best entry from any fleet of fewer than 15 vehicles.
