New Honda Vehicle: The Japanese Honda road vehicle manufacturing concern has started production of a new light goods vehicle, the Honda T500 (500 c.c.). Monthly output, to reach a level of 500 next month, is eventually planned for 2,000 units. Transpoti Reference Librsay: A roads and road transport reference library, freely available to the public, has been established by Holborn Borough Council in conjunction with the British Road Federation. New Plant: International Harvester Co. is planning to build a " multi-million dollar' lorry manufacturing and assembly plant to replace its present Springfield. Ohio. facilities now deemed too old for efficient production. I.H. has increased its estimates for its 1963 lorry production and now considers that output will be more than 5 per cent higher than the record set last year.

Japanese Output Up: Final figures for the 1962 calendar year show that Japanese production of road goods vehicles rose by 16-6 per cent to 722,320 units and that of motorbuses by Hi per cent to 11,370 units.
