I the definition of a tower wagon now covers vehicles of the hydraulic platform type. This was agreed to in the House of Commons last week by Mn Enoch Powell, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, when the matter was raised by Mr. George Wigg (Lab., Dudley) who pointed out that the previous definition of a tower wagon, referring to "telescopic contrivances," was not apposite to hydraulic-platform vehicles.
