Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN OIL TANKER driver has been killed in a collision with a van on the A977 near Perth and Kinross, lipping the tanker onto its side and causing the cab to detach and land in a nearby ield.

Local residents were also evacuated to the Loch Leven Community Centre due to a large fuel spillage from the tanker, with a 200m exclusion zone set up by Tayside Police.

The incident took place at 4.30pm on 9 January on the A977 Main Street, at Crook of Devon: the oil tanker was travelling westbound and the van driver eastbound. The road was closed in both directions overnight until 9am the following day.

The tanker driver died at the scene, while the van driver was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline with minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should call Tayside Police 0300 111 2222.
